Help me out, should i sell? how much?

i am at a mid-point and not sure if i should sell my gsx. i would like to know how much i could sell it for and wats a reasonable asking price.

car:
1997 Eclipse gsx
milage: 56,xxx
title: salvage (i have pics, very little damage)
Trans: 5speed
color: 2003 Lexus Graphite Grey (one of a kind)
opt: all power, leather, but no sunroof (race version, weigh reduction..haha)

I would put it on eBay with whatever reserve you would be happy with. Your chances of finding someone there who is looking for a modified car and who might want to pay a little more for the mods would be better. If it is completely restored I would guess $8-$11K depending on buyer interest etc. Because of the salvage title you would also expect someone to try and talk you down to $5K-7K. When you find an interested party, I would just show them pics of before and after and explain you restored the car because the damage was more cosmetic than structural. I think since you restored the car, you can get a Refurbished title now. That might help in the sale.

If I put all that work into a car, I would find it hard to part with it so easy. Is there any reason other than the BMW that you want to get rid of the Eclipse? Are you just bored with the car now?

im still a student, and owing a dsm is draining my pockets. i guess im gettin bored of racing and just want to upgrade to something classy. a BMW is idea cause it has the looks of sporty but has lots of class.

Your car is soo awesome, I would seriously by it if u were local. I bet u could get somwhere around 10k with it. Also i am starting to see a trend where after we dsmers sell our dsms we always seem to want some luxury sport car. Your like the 4th person i know to sell there dsm to get a BMW..But hey I dont blame you that BMW is really hott and I wouldnt be surpised if i sold my car and did the same thing. the inside of the door jams got painted, but not the engine bay. the engine bay is black, looks all the same wen its dirty, hahah.
