im about to get my head ported and i wanted to know what you guys think i should do to it? should i just port and polish and reseat my valves? should i get new valves or would i b ok with the stock ones? i eventually plan on turboing it. i am doing a complete overhaul. i searched first but couldnt find info that really helped me. just wanna know what you guys have

If there is nothing wrong with your current valves, there is no need to replace them. Larger valves are available, but aren't required for making more power. Make sure you have bigger cams to accommodate the port work.

im not sure they dont look bent or anything but when i bought the car the timing belt was broken. it snapped the tensioner to.. yea i will be getting some different cams

How many miles?

As a rule, I get SS valves when I replace them. Better strength and longevity and heat dissapation qualities.

IMO, I would replace them, unless there are very few miles on them. At this point you should also have the head looked at for a straight deck.

it has 120000. are pep valves good? would i need to go +1mm?
