I guess since im tired of waiting. this flywheel was recently machined but i kindof beat on it since then but i was wondering if this flywheel is still usable. It worked great before i took it out but there is one very small hairline check on the face. it is only on the surface but i dont feel like waiting for it to be machined can i get away with using this for a few weeks?

If it were me I would do it right while I had it apart, but you could probably get away with it for a little while. It's your choice. Do you feel like pulling it back apart soon? I wouldn't.;)

So how are you getting scammed? It seems that by beating on it and heating it up as you have shown, caused the crack.

Mine looks much worse than that and I have reused it in that condition twice. At the same time I really don't mind pulling my tranny so its your call.

I bought a part off a company called "had to remove" and they are like a fake site or something no tracking number, no email response, no one pickes up the phone so i am just assuming the worst.

But i do want to do it right i had bought a fidenza aluminum fly wheel with a steel face on it Part # 161961 or something like that . I dont mind pulling my trans can have it off in like 3 hrs but i just want to know if it looks impending catastrphic failure or anything ? Just want to use it till next pay day i cant afford to buy a 2nd out of one check.

Thanks
