Ok I see cars like this all over the campus at school. Camaros with somewhat stock looking rear spoilers but with more downforce. I was wondering if there was such thing for a 2g dsm with the low spoiler. Here are some pics please reply I want to add a muscle look to my car not rice. thanks

uhm.. I think the stock GS/RS spoiler is the closest to that you're going to get. You lost me when you said more "downforce".. Downforce is when the wind pushes down on a part of your car, which isn't going to benefit you until you're going at least 90+ mph.... I honestly don't think you're going to add a "muscle car" look to your eclipse with a spoiler. Why not just concentrate on the go-fast parts or other areas of the body? No disrespect just my $.02

Downforce would be counter-productive on a FWD, it would take traction from your front wheels and put it on the rear, and this would also hurt handling because it would take pressure away from the front(turning wheels.)

i don't think he actually wants more downforce, he's just saying that the spoiler looks like it would add more d/f. But I'm sorry to say i don't think they make anything like that for eclipses, but I've never really looked around for that sort of thing, it's a cool idea tho, might look good. I think stock nt spoiler is as close as you're gonna get tho. :dsm:

it wouldn't be counter-productive. more like there would be trade-offs. do you want more traction for the driving wheels. or more stability at the rear wheels. a spoiler isn't just for traction. it aids in stability as well.

KILL THIS THREAD NOW... sorry buddy, i dont think such a thing exists... if you want downforce get a real wing form japan, like c-west.... i hate this, its just another "benefits of downforce" where drag and roadracing come at odds, people say things that are wrong, and it just goes on...
