I dropped my Talon off last Monday to have the drivers side front cv axle replaced. I have ordered 5 axles which have all been wrong. The ones that I have ordered have male ends going into the transmission the one that came out has a female end. I cannot find the right one anywhere other that the dealership which thinks that they can get the one that I need for 400.00. Is this my only option or has someone else had this problem?

From the sound of it you still have the male part still in the transmission. Just use screwdriver and pry it out. since the bearings in the cage are usualy diffrent sizes because they are re ground you really don't want to re-use the "male part". I think that is what you want:thumb:

We looked in the transmission and could see nothing that would seem to come out. I just talked to someone that told me that Eagle was known to swap the drivers and passengers side. Does this sound right?
