He'll probably get you off the line due to lack of traction on your part. From a roll you'll probably smoke him if you got it tuned right and don't lose traction. What are you running for boost?

er i personaly hate the new ones..and i thought they stoped makeing the SS's somewhere in the late 90's eh oh well anyway if he has much to anything done to the engine he is probly for real and will beat you.. i duno about the new ones but I drove a 1969 SS Camaro that HALLED ASS! of corse the guy spent well over 10 grand on it but it pulled low 9's also look like one hell of a car.. (far as show car I mean)... i always wanted it since then.. but anyway

it all depends, becouse well i'll say it again there is no replacement for displacement and if you do all the same stuff to a well built V8 as u do to our cars he will win everytime.. there is and never will be anyway around the fact he has twice the pistons...

BUT if it is stock and with your mods i say go for it.. if you can get a good launch you will stand a good chance at wining... but if not hes probly gona catch up and pass you

BTW stay away from any camaro with a blower sticking out of the hood...

Thanks alot. I am pretty sure this car is completely stock( actually 100% sure it is). One of my other friends said he seen him get out ran by a early model laser over the weekend. Also you stay away from HONDAS with big tail pipes HAHAHAHA!!!!!

So, what happened? Who won?

PS For future reference, don't waste our time with this junk unless you have the balls to actually race, numbnuts.

Havent really had a chance to race him yet!! But when I do I will so dont worry. The only thing that you should be happy about is that Seattle is to far for me to drive and WASTE my time out running your ass(NUTLESS).

Clever. So, you had time to post and monitor a thread, but couldn't manage to race a co-worker, who I am only guessing works in the same building with roughly the same hours? Well, I stand corrected, of course you couldn't have possibly found the time to drive alongside him to a local red-light.

Kinda hard to race someone when you leave work at different times!!!
Sounds like to me you need to find your own self a race!! Oh I forgot you have to have a car that runs to race!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, I just raced an Integra while I was driving a 1988 Ford Mustang. I do manage to get by, but thanks for the concern. Of course, I am not afraid of racing; so it helps me not ask dumb questions when I should have simply done the deed. Did you grow balls yet, or are you still afraid of the Camaro?

I'll believe that when I see it. That sounds like more Fbody rederick than anything. Sounds like another bench racer blowin smoke up someones butt.

theres been stock LS1's that have seen 12.9,100% stock.

look camaros in great condition with perfect track, driver and weather run mid to low 13s and if the car and driver are a freak of naturemabey 12.9-13...But like he said Ill have to see it to believe it. At a stop no he will launch on you..but you will def pull hard on him and win. From a roll dont waste your time it would be to easy.
If I can trap at damn near 100mph stock(94.3mph) with all your mods and if you can drive anything top end you will own him. Good luck and please race him before you post.:thumb:

QUIT whoring the thread..please waste your time somewhere else.

Sorry, that's wrong. A forced induction system doubles the displacement of the engine for every mutiple of atmospheric pressure. In a sense, a high pressure turbo adds pistons to the motor (verrry rough explanation; simplified to the max). And on staying away from camaro's with blowers sticking through the hoods, I agree. Camaro mullets are dangerous, and should be steered clear of.

uuuh i knew that about the induction thats why i was saying stay away with ones with blower sticking though the hoods... and uh there is still no replacement for displacement BECOUSE if you do the same damn things to our cars as a beffy V8 there is no way you can beat the V8 in power or torq...

Do you have a timeslip with that 13.25? Just curious, I have never seen a stock LS1 pull 13.2

I've got plenty...varying from 13.5 the first day at the track, to a 13.0 with only nitto dr's on the car. I put down 299hp to the wheels stock. Trust me many ls1 f-bodys are in the low 13's stock.

BTW I trapped at 107.8 so your 94 isnt that close and my 60' was 1.96 on the 13.25 run

I think my Talon stock is quick...its far from fast, I know it has the potentail.
