Grinding and shifter linkage

I recently changed the tranny fluid (synchromesh) and messed with the shifter links. The car used to grind in 3rd, but now it grinds in 2nd also. Could the link adjustment have caused this? Or is it more likely the tranny fluid?

double clutch it into 2nd a few times and if it doesnt grind then its not the linkage its the crappy pos synchro or if it still does maybe the linkage but doubt new fluid would ever make it worse unless it was done wrong

I adjusted the linkage and it became a bit better. But yes... I have to double clutch it every time i go into 2nd or 3rd. It sucks!
