Greetings from Germany.
My name is Eduard and I am proud owner of a 2G GSX.
I bought the car 6 years ago with minor issues.
It took me a while to solve all problems. Like how it is, if you start with one issue, you will discover 5 more.
I did the maintenance with timing belt and changed all the fluids.
Installed a custom made 3" exhaust and some 18 inch wheels.
swapped the front brakes to bigger ones out of an outlander.
I also converted the non facelift look into the facelift including the origjnal spoiler.
I also had to rebuild or add some parts to drive the car legal on german streets.
For example you need to add a rear fog lamp.
Also it is not allowed to have red turning signals.

But last year in November i finally had the car finished and could drive it to Technical Supervisory Association, to get my official registration for the German streets.

You can read about my background below.
I hope to find here good help, because i am planning to tune the car for 300hp in the first step.

I am driving Eclipse 2G's since I am 18.
My brother owned the first one.
I was a apprentice car mechanic back then an startet to repair my brothers car and get a feal for the vehicle and the engine.

It didn't took long and my brother bought his first gst.
In germany its a very rare vehicle and you can call yourself very lucky if you own one.

The gst had a big FMIC and a big 20G upgrade turbo.
It had over 340hp but not properly tuned.
So a lots of work had to be done on this car.
Also the bodywork wasn't in the best condition.
So we decided to sell the car.
Luckily we get the opportunity to trade the gst into a gsx.
At this time i already was finished with my apprenticeship and had a bit of experience with the 4G63T.

So we take the chance and traded our gst and got us the gsx.

In Germany, the gsx is much rarer then the gst.
There are rumors that here are only 15 original gsx who are officially registered in vehicle registration office.

As my dayli i drive a 98' facelift 2G.
In Germany we have the NA 4G63 engine with 141hp.
For my dayli drive to work and oround the town it is a great car and i love to drive it.

For my gsx i am planning to tune it properly to 300hp.
I have already the evo2 16G installed and some other mods to tune the car.
I have also installed the ecm link and now i am about to buy the last remaining parts to set up the tune for the car.

Beside my 2 cars that i am currently own, i had at least 10 2G eclipse.
Some of them were damaged by street accidents.
The others i just owned for several months and sold them again.

I am hoping to get here some good information about how to build a proper turbo gsx, because my plans are to drive way more then 300hp.
It is only the first step.
