I was trying to decide on which boost controller to go with i heard that the greddy one is good but am not sure which to pick also was gonna put in a metal head gasket when i put in the boosted controller what do you guys think?

Hey man, you need to work on your grammer and spelling a little bit. Anyway, a Greddy Profec-b is good but why not get a manual boost controller? Its cheaper and does the same thing.

Well unless your profile isn't updated, the metal head gasket is basically a waste of money for you. They can cause sealing issues, which is why you need to get both the block & head surfaced first to help get a proper seal. This is way overkill for your setup as the stocker is fine & has proven many times to run 20 psi & a good amount more on a proper tune & when your reaching the higher boost levels a set of ARP headstuds is always a good idea.

What do I think about greddy EBC's? Well my Type S had to go back for warranty repair twice within a year. The total amount of time I owned it was about 1.4 years & the total amount of time it worked properly was maybe 1.5 months. Their repair time is rediculas so if you get one, hope its doesn't have an issues because if it does expect a 4 month+ wait to get it back. After it went in for the second time they gave me a new unit which I sold, I will be running the Apexi AVC-R

My Talon has had the Profec B-Spec II since before I bought it. I really like it, but haven't used anything else. The instruction manual is somewhat confusing, but eventually I got it figured out (I think).
It is very easy to make your car run very badly (boost spikes, etc.) with this controller. With some patience, though, you can really fine tune your boost response and then continue to change it as you add mods.
The display is small and hard to see, but you can customize your warning and limiter to just beep and flash red at you without dropping boost, or dump boost, or anything in between, at whatever pressure you select (kPa or PSI). With one button you can turn it off (to return to stock) or use it in either Lo or Hi modes that you can customize. I think it is very versatile and I'd recommend it.:thumb:

I agree with EZ91Talon, I've had no problems with my Profec and will continue to enjoy it. LOL :) Had a manual but really like the way the Profec fits in my console with the deck, turbo timer, Safc, guages,etc...yeah yeah(dare I say rice?), but I like it lookin like a cockpit!! nyah nyah
