So i got a CEL code p1105. It is the Fuel Pressure solenoid circuit. I checked the resistance and its high resistance im getting like 165 ohms.

And couple days later I rechecked it it was lower than 165 ohms it was73.9 ohms.

It still clicks and valve seem to operate fine when using a mitivac tool. Anyways i searched all over online and cant seem to find this solenoid part # K5T43988. The EGR valve solenoid only pops up in my searches online. Would i be able to just replace my original fuel pressure solenoid with another EGR solenoid? I see that this “Fuel pressure Solenoid” is a discontinued part for this particular car. And living in Hawaii these cars is like a needle in a hay stack very hard to find parts for it being not very common vehicle. And shipping things are ridiculous where shipping is almost the same as the item your buying. 🤦🏾‍♂️ Also i seen something on amazon a solenoid very similar but its for a Mazda. Everything lines up except the prongs i would have to hack some plastic off if i cant fit the wire harness into that box where it clips together. Anybody ordered this and if it works. I am having a intermediate hard cold start as of the first start overnight. No problem with starting when the car is at normal operating temperature.

Try the 1999 version Mitsubishi part number MD113721

You'll note the ones you were looking at don't have the rear nipple and aren't the right one.
Thank you very much steve! I appreciate it! :thumb:
