Good Headers to get

Honestly, your 2g mani is pretty good for your 16g. I would take that money and put it towards Ecmlink v3. You will see more improvments all around from a tuning software then from an exhaust manifold.

If you are looking for "cool shiny stuff", go for it.

p.s. you don't have headers

This is just my opinion on the matter but, for the price of that one manifold you could buy 5 of these Header Turbo Manifold 4G63 DSM Eclipse Talon TD05 1G 2G | eBay . I ran one on my car a while back and it never cracked and fitment was spot on. I was also running very lean as well. Or like the other member on here said, you could just get dsmlink for that price which will be a way better investment.

Or for less then an ebay manifold you could buy a grinder and some carbide bits, Then port the stock 2g manifold out and be done. Assuming the OP isn't looking for shiney things in the engine bay.

A ported 2g or evo3 manifold are both more than what you need for a 16g. Either will work fine, and they tuck nicely behind the factory heat shield.

Im not looking for something shiny its just a bonus haha. I want them for sound most of all, and for my ECMLink would be like 600 and i dont know what all i have to do...

How about instead of sound you go for performance?

Best thing you could run for your 16g would be an FP manifold, around $240, but you already have a 2g manifold and since you're not making real power I would invest in something else.

Someone mentioned dsm link, what it is is a tuning chip/software so that you can tune your car. Guessing from how you worded your post you'd be paying someone to do the tune but I digress.

I would buy dsmlink, get on the link forums and go that route.

Also, it's called an exhaust manifold, not headers you ricer ROFL

This. For a mitsu flanged manifold, unless you're looking for an external wastegate provision, which is completely unnecessary, the only one you should want is an FP cast manifold. They flow well enough to max out your 16g's hot side, and will not crack like the cheap fleabay units that one of the previous users pointed you to. An aftermarket manifold will give you negligible sound difference, it's about flow into the turbine.

Save your money on a SS tubular manifold, buy an FP cast manifold, and start saving for ECMlink.

You're pretty good at re-wording previously written statements. If I had a balloon i'd give you it.. maybe even a cookie.

Awe you went back and added something. So proud!

I Have that same manifold and it looks ok, i ended up buying a newer racing cast manifold from FP though. The tubular one fit fine but made under hood very very hot and was a pain putting it onto the housing due to clearance issues and a little hassle when bolting to the head. Put a heatshield on a cast one for bling :). If you want more sound, upgrade to metal intake pipes and it makes your turbo more noticeable.

K going as far to insult me is just retarded. I wanted to do my ENTIRE exhaust system. Im used to calling it headers because of all of my friends mustangs. Im not stupid. Dont comment on my posts if youre going to give no help at all and insult me. Dont waste space on my post with your stupid shit. Youre just making yourself look like a jackass.

Any other mods i would need, and are there better deals, or better sounding headers for cheaper? I like stainless steel alot, partially for the look and also because my full exhaust is SS except my o2 housing. Opinions?
Headers are found on V-engines, where they would replace two manifolds. A header, in general, would be found on a non-turbo application.

What you're looking for is a replacement turbo manifold. While stainless steel tubular manifolds may seem like a great idea on paper, they're not so glorious a while down the road where they discolor and potentially crack from the constant heating and cooling of your daily drive cycles. The metal is thin, and will raise the engine bay temps to an unnecessary level as well.

Ideally, cast manifolds are what you want for a daily-driven car. As Andrew pointed out above, the FP manifold is the best-flowing cast manifold available for our cars which still retains stock durability, fitment, and turbo placement.
