Volbeats new album is pretty great.

I won't buy anything from the new "three days grace" the old lead singer left due to "medical issues" and started his own solo. The new singer is the guy who sings porn star dancing and does a terrible job at being Adam gontier

I can handle some hardcore stuff as long as the whole damn song isn't screaming I like it. Example: all that remains and atreyu

Definitely reminds me of my high school days. Don't forget sugarcult, newfound glory, the starting line, or rufio
Oddly enough, I ended up hanging out with Rufio one night after a show at the old Club Laga in Oakland (Pittsburgh) when they were the no-name opener for Sugarcult. Their "Perhaps, I suppose" album was brand new, so they were quite undiscovered....great guys to hang out with. :rocks:

I still listen to all of my CD's from that era- Saves The Day, Thursday, Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, Starting Line, Fenix TX, Allister, Homegrown....as well as two awesome local bands from the era- Punchline and Juliana Theory. Can't find ANY of that music on Satellite. :notgood:

That's awesome, I saw Rufio and Sugarcult at Warped Tour in Dallas one year and was hooked. Pandora does a nice job with Rufio songs if you are interested, plays that genre well.

Anyone listen to millencolin? It reminds me of sitting playing Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2 for hours....

That would be badass. I met shinedown when they opened for seether when they were still nobodys and they were sweet as well. Prob the coolest group of guys ive met.

You can't beat the slow paced stuff.

Lumineers and Mumford & Sons.

I can't stand the Lumineers thanks to the local radio station. They've over played 'Ho Hey'.
Actually I can't local radio period.

Who listens to the radio??? The first thing I usually do is rip the antennae out of my cars... That way even when I am driving someone around they can't even get radio on... My GS has no antennae and my GSX has no deck/speakers/amp anything. haha.

Moral of the story: I can't stand radio stations LOL. They drive me up a wall... I plug my iPod into my GS...

That is how my GSX is. The only reason the antennae is still in is because I am lazy. I was actually going to buy a drain plug and take it out today but idk. After that though there will be literally no sound equipment in that car.

Buckethead. Awesome and very talented man. Just listened to the first 3 albums he put out. What an amazing guitar player. If i had the talent that man has in his pinky finger - i would probably quit being a mechanic! Lok

Techno, punk-rock, industrial, jumpstyle, rave, happy hardcore, and some others that don't really have a genre :)

Prefer something fast-paced. Stuff seems to be done quicker that way.

I dont know how new it is but first time i heard the song stone was only a couple weeks ago. So im figuring its new.

I use to listen to 90's grunge and other rock while working, but I found it just encouraged my frustration and anger and it so easy to just whip my rachet across the garage... SO i started listening to calmer stuff like slow deep dubstep or club music like Blackmill, Gemini, or Oceanlab.
