FWD Turbo ECU

I was wonderingmwhat are the difference(if any) between an AWD ECU vs a FWD ECU.

Reason im asking is my ECU went out on the Talon,and cant seem to find an ECU I can afford

That seems to be an excellent question. Im not sure of the answer. but I do know that I have a 91 awd w/ a busted cpu and my buddy has a 90 fwd turbo eclipse and his cpu runs my car just fine. I was even able to scan my car off his unit. I would recomend more research, not sure of long term effects or possibly any different maps. Good luck

The only real difference is the speed limiter is on the FWD as the AWD has Zrated tires from the factory, no limitor was put in. I am trading a guy my 96 GST for a 95 GSX for 100 since he is selling the car to some kid who is making it a dam lowrider, I want DSMlink so it will benifit me a little, but be sure not to over heat via high speed your tire, just upgrade and besure.

I have a 2G and do not know about a 1G sorry mate.
