Ok just installed my new fuel rail from injector clinic -6AN braided line and a new fuel filter from Russell -6AN and an Aeromotive A1000-6 fp/regulator.
Problem is Im only getting around 25psi of fuel pressure, turn the screw on top still nothing !OMG Its running dead lean and wants to just sputter. during idle it would catch and sound normal for a second and rps will go up and go to rich, then die off and sputter lean ????
Any help Im working outside on it still. Thanks...

did you have the vacuum hose on the afpr port?? are you sure you have the fuel sending and return line hooked up to the regulator right??

What do you have for a pump?

We know it's not the rail or filter.

Look for kinks in the line to and from the filter and check your FPR setup.

Also look maybe look for FPR defects?

Low pressure in the rail means any combination or single of the following.

1. the pump is'nt doing it's job
2. Lines kinked or blocked.
3. Filter clogged (not likely for you)
4. FPR way out of adjustment, missconnected or defective.

You should be able to set for a base pressure of atleast 43 psi.
