fuel pressure sending unit

I would like to know what fittings I need in order to hook the sending unit up to the fuel filter/line.

FYI: It's an autometer gauge.

a real fuel line is a start -- or a FPR

I just went to ace hardware and made my own fittings.

I don't need or want a FPR.

What I would like to know it where the best or easiest place is to hook in to. I am thinking about splicing into the fuel line that goes from the filter to the rail.

I have heard about a banjo bolt on the filter that can be made into an adaptor.. could someone clarify this?
