Front Axel Replacement

My front axel needs to be replaced, but my mechanic wants $350 to do this.. Is it something I can do on my own, or is it to difficult and not worth it?

If you have the proper tools, I'd seriously consider doing it yourself. You will save yourself a lot of money. Search for the vfaq on doing this and see for yourself if you're up for the task...

Search these forums for axles, there was a good post on how simple it is to change front axles, i would buy my internet is slow right now, if you dont find it and want me to find it for you pm me and i will find it at school tomorow
