Sad part is, even with the way we are doing it now. There are always a few people that will test the rules. And I have to deal with it. If we get fined by the county for noise violation REV-X is done. So I have to find some way to control the people, even if it offends some. Because not controlling them is worse for everybody. Reading the rules should NOT be bothering you that much. It takes like 10 seconds and you are AWARE that it's because of the trouble makers and not you. In fact, by not letting it bother you, you are setting an example to the rest of the people it does bother and you are helping me out by subduing the strife. I mean if some one near you complains about it, just say to them "Reading the rules should NOT be bothering you that much. It takes like 10 seconds and you know that it's because of the trouble makers and not you."

We are having another meeting at around 8:30PM, I'd like you to come and voice how you felt about being treated rudely and being cussed at. I don't want it to be a debate though. I'll try to control them, if you can not get upset. Understand that people get defensive when they get criticized, so they may try to intervene, I'll do the best I can to stop the bickering. I just want you to voice how you felt and then I will discuss with them about how they talk to people.

The neighbors are out of town for the next two weekends so we going to allow music and revving as well as have our own system out again.

Very good points sean. Reading the rules didnt bother me, I just thought it was a bit funny. As a matter of fact, when i pulled up and was asked to read the rules, I just kind of laughed because in the back of my head I knew that there would be some ricer who was probably planning on doing some burnouts or driving fast, and would actually think twice after reading them.

I dont see this as a huge issue, if this is what needs to be done to control and limit troublemakers from ruining this meet, then that is perfectly fine.

So there was a compliant about the footage in the video. Here is a little background on why such footage was used. For the first 8 weeks of REV-X we took video footage of people just chilling in the lots, having fun, just relaxing, etc. On the 9th week we downloaded all the footage to find that 90% of the footage was distorted and 100% of it had no audio, due to bad tape heads on the camera.
On the 8th-10th week, we started taking footage to promote the Race Day (plans are still pending), using a different camera. Since we had a lot of action footage and only about 2 minutes of the other footage, we combined them. I had an assignment to turn a two minute video on the 10th, and that is how I did it.
 
I think we are going to go back to the way things were ran before. I'm sick of 50 people stick thier 2 cents into how I run it. I'm going back to how I ran it, when we had 350+ cars show up.

A) No more reading the rules, we simply ask you if you have been here before.
B) If you are new, you read the rules to us
C) You break the rules you get kicked out.
D) You break the rules as you are leaving, we take your plates and you get kicked out NOT from the next weekend, but the next time you show up.
E) If we ask you to leave and we have to call the cops to force you to leave, you are banned for the rest of the year.
F) For the retards that try to setup street races at REV-X, STOP!!!!

Wow the one time I actually come it rains when I'm about 10 minutes away. Then I got lost because of my GPS. I think I found the lot that you guys meet at but I'm not sure LOL I was there alone.

Whew! Temperatures are supposed to be 70-74 tonight with open skies, sounds like perfect weather for a car meet. Come hang out at REV-X from 10:00PM to 2:00AM. Address: 11120 Gordon Road Fredericksburg, VA 22407. Cars can start showing up as early as 9:00PM

REV-X averages 200-300 cars every weekend, with our largest meet at 363 (official count). I hope with the good weather we break 400 cars before the year ends.

From I-95: Take exit 130B. Go about 3 miles west on Route 3. Make a left on Gordon Road. Travel 1.9 miles south on Gordon Road. REV-X is at the large 550+ Parking spot on the Right (just past the fire station).

REV-X RACE DAY FLASH MOB!!!!!!

OK, so here's the deal. Thursday, August 19th, the church is going to get a formal proposal for the REV-X Race Day.

I am planning to go big, REAL BIG with this Race Day. So big, that I have been asked NOT to release details about the Race Day until it has been approved.

So here's the plan, I want to show the church how many people come out to REV-X every weekend. I want to show them how many people will attend this Race Day and how many people will be let down if the deny the proposal. So here is what I want to do. I want everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, from REV-X to come out to the church at 6:00PM and fill up the church for the 6:30PM service. Heck, you don't even need to be a REV-X attendee to participate in this flash mob. I want the auditorium to be so full that the people who normally come to the 6:30PM service have to watch the service from the over-flow seating outside the auditorium. After the 6:30PM service we will roll right into REV-X. In order to make an impact, we need to do this to the fullest.

SHOW YOUR SUPPORT FOR REV-X AND FLASH MOB THE CHURCH THIS SATURDAY AUGUST 14th AT 6:00PM. WE WILL MEET IN THE REAR LOT.

So after a lovely lady called the cops with a bogus claim, the cops came down on us pretty hard. The good is that we are not working WITH the Sheriff's Department.

REV-X is kicking back off on Sept. 11th. Please pay attention to this next part.

PLEASE GET HERE AT 10:00PM AND COME INSIDE INTO THE AUDITORIUM FOR A DISCUSSION ON WHAT IS CHANGING!!!
