SUCCESS AT REV-X

All in all. REV-X was a success. Being our first meet, I hoped for about 50 cars. We actually had about 60-80 cars total. At one single time we had about 55 cars. There were a few people that left before the peak and a few people that arrived after everyone left. We all just chilled and hung out until 1:53AM and then I had to kick everyone out because the permit letter to assemble only covers until 2:00AM.

A local mustang club contacted me with interest in REV-X. Also, another event organizer contacted me about combining his meet (estimated at around 200 cars) with REV-X. So I am expecting a bigger crowd this Saturday or the next Saturday.

The DSM crowd definitely needs to represent this next Saturday.

Also something crazy, the church was being robbed from 12:00AM-1:00AM. The church was broken into and flat screen Plasma/LCD TVs were stolen. Luckily, it was all caught on video and it was determined to be someone from the church and not anyone associated with us. Cool thing was you could see, from the video footage, that the thief kept running back to the back door panicked about us being back there.

SEE YOU THIS SATURDAY!!! (May 8th @ 10:00PM)
(cars can being showing up no earlier than 9:00PM)

LOL my bad. uhhh, had a unexpected circumstance come up. I will be there this Saturday. Great to hear that the first meet was a success.

LOL @ the thief

This Saturday we will start taking video and I will be doing the editting. Make sure to be there so you can be in the video!!!!

You know that's like a 1.5 hour drive right?

Anyway, I'm still working on making this bigger and badder. Right, now I am working on a vendor getting in and setting up a booth or something. Having vendors brings more people. I haven't heard from the Mustang Club and REV-X and the other meet have not worked out combining our meet. But stay dedicated and show up. That is the only way this will be as big as the Mega-Meets in Woodbridge were.

Well all i know is if its 1.5 hours of driving the roads up here i wont be complaining. Its beats the flat and straight of Florida!

I'd trade you those bullshit roads for your old straight and flats any day.

Luckily around here the roads are pretty decent. Main roads are pretty flat and straight enough to not be annoying.

From Berryville it's not a very exciting ride for you, if you take the fastest route. Pretty much 3 highways get you here. 1.5 hours would be a lot of traffic. It's been a while since I made that trip but In the evening I'm pretty sure it was only about an hour drive.

Well after the winter we just had, and being stuck up here with my POS S10 while my Talon was sitting in storage in Florida ill just happy to be putting some miles on her! Look forward to making out and meeting up with some of you guys, even if it is a ride.

REV-X grows by 45%.

This weekend was cold. But despite the wind and low temperatures. REV-X had a better turnout then the first weekend. With a total of about 100 cars the whole night, we grew about 45 percent from last weeks 70-ish cars. The cold did cause a lot of tuner to stick around for only an hour, but that caused us to have two peak times each peak having about 40-45 cars. Also I met with a few shops that have expressed interest in getting involved. Keep spreading the word and the larger we grow the more I will be able to do with this program.

See you again May 15th!!!!!!

Only 1 DSM showed and it was someone who doesn't have a DSMTuners account, what gives?!?

I've been working my ass off weekends building a 4car garage.

I DON'T WANNA HEAR YOUR LAME EXCUSES!!!!

LOL, no just kidding. You are only one person out of like 14 that I know in the area that has DSMs. And I use the term "area" loosely.

Anthony, can you remove the DSM comment from the VA Driven Forum, I don't want to single out a specific platform.

Just to let you guys know, I have gotten the support of a MAJOR player in the chruch. He is looking into opening the Cafe/Restrooms for the event AND he is digging the vendor idea. So we may have some shops setting up booths. But I can't stress this enough. The Church board is NOT going to put money/resources into this if we don't grow big. SO SPREAD THE WORD. I am going to have someone from the Church stop by one of these weekend. If we have 100 or more cars at peak time, then we are in. So I need a 100 cars at peak time starting like next weekend.

REV-X and VA Rides join forces.

With the rapid expansion of REV-X, I was going to need an internet base to help get messages out. For that I turned to VA Rides (Varides.com --Home of the official AIK car meet) for assistance. VA Rides and REV-X will work together to provide a safe environment for automotive enthusiast to relax, show off their cars and just have a good time. VA Rides will be my primary source of getting information out, like track events, vendor sponsoring, etc. Register at VA rides (.com) and check out the Official REV-X Forum at Club Meets Also, VA Rides is bringing with them some very strong resources, as well as the resources I already have in place. There are some details that REV-X and VA Rides need to fine tune, but the deal has been sealed and we are working together with a common goal. One thing is for sure, the larger REV-X grows, the more we are going to be allowed to do with REV-X. The goals is to have 100 cars at peak time by the end of this month. 300 by next month and pack the parking lot by the end of July. So spread the word and spread it far and wide. The next meet is:

Saturday, May 15th @ 10:00PM
