FMIC Custom Piping Question

I bought a FMIC. It is a Spearco (or maybe knockoff) with 2.5" inlet/outlet. I am having someone run all the piping for me. Now let me say up front I am not looking for an 11 or even 12 second car "right now" (yes I know the fmic is overkill, please don't lecture me on why I don't need it on the 14b).

All I want to know is what exactly do I need for the piping. I mean everything (couplings, bends, clamps, etc.). Also where to get the stuff would be nice too. I think the guy could do press-bent piping all the way through, however I know there would be some pretty extreme bends, which might restrict too much airflow (I don't mind press-bent if it's not going to bee TOO restrictive). If mandrel bends are required it would be great if someone could tell me exactly what I need. I have a 92 Talon TSI AWD if that helps.

2 45 degree bends (upper ic pipe) 2.5inch
2 90 degree bends (lower ic pipe) 2.5inch
J pipe (from the turbo to the lower ic pipe) 2.5 inch
2g throttle body elbow
and thats it.

12 clamps
6 couplers
and thats it
 
Where do I get the J-Pipe? Could I just cut a 180 degree mandrel bend to make a J out of it?
 
so, would those bends work on a 2g also? the main thing I'm worried about is the compressor outlet on the t-28.

i got advanced racing to do my custom piping upper and lower mandrel and black powder coated, but i'm also paying $425.00 for it. ordered it today and will be ready to go on by tomorrow.
 
ouch that hurts man. rnr racing offers custom ic piping. rage motorpsorts in san diego makes the 1g Race Core kit with polished alluminum fmic piping. looks very sexy.

working good. most of the rubber lengths are from carquest's vast radiator hose selection. the one long rubber length is 2.5" id bellowsflex from pacific rubber. all the rest is galvanized fence post and an exhaust pipe from autozone.

get 15 or so clamps. if you have extra, just double up on what looks to have the sharpest turns directly before or after it. also, dont forget to lip your metal pipes. people have machines that will run a bead all the way around, or weld one on; you dont need all that shit. get a crescent wrench, clamp the jaw down on the pipe about a quarter inch in to it, then bend it out. repeat along the entire section of pipe, and there's your lip.

im like the master of ghetto intercooler piping, so you can always hit me up with questions. if you do everything right you shouldnt have a pipe blowing off on you ever. if you do though, stick it back on and cruise back to your home / shop / whatever without boosting, and put on more clamps / make a better lip / etc.
