I have always owned 1gs I recently bought a 98 gsx BUT it has the lower "gs" wing on it and don't see install holes where the gsx wjng would have been if it was switched.

I'm pretty sure they didn't make a gsx with that wjng and can't find any confirmation on my car being a true gsx (looked up the vin)

Of course it is an awd I have made sure it had a rear dif.. Just the wing confuses me...

Any input from you 2gb owners?

You positive it's a 2gb and not a converted 2ga?

Very helpful post blazebolt I completely forgot about that sheet...the car is indeed an awd model just for some reason has the gsx wing and no signs of the gsx wing

Does your 3rd brake light on the spoiler work? Do you see any evidence of the 3rd brake light being inside the hatch? The high rise spoiler does not have a 3rd brake light in it and so it was located inside the hatch.

The wing brake light works and the only evidence of an inside brake light would be a cut in the plastic paneling

I have seen plenty of 2g GSX's that didn't have the high rise on it. Guess it just depended on the person that ordered or actually purchased the car from the dealer.

That's interesting. Cool find I suppose.

That's what I thought too but in order to find out I'd have to pull Carfax or something

The hatch was swaped. This car was involved in an accident, the hatch doesn't sit flush (see the passanger side), and the front bumper is not the OEM.

Its logic, its easier/cheaper to find a low rise spoiler then a high rise spoiler.

Thats my theory for this one. LOL

It's a gsx and what makes me think it was gs winged from the factory is because the center taillight works...High rise wings don't have the center light nor the wiring for one. If I don't keep the gs wing on it I will fill the holes with bondo and paint
