I might be getting a 1997 Eagle Talon soon and i was wondering what the first things i should do to/with it are

Maitnace first, all maitnace.

It’s a 98 not 97 . If I were you I would do a full engine rebuild while we have it out. That way you start fresh. But of course you would have to buy the car off me first . It also depends what your goals are for the car. Drag racing or autox or both.
