So Ive been trying to get it painted for like 5 summers in a row, and i finally bit the bullet and got with it. It took about 3 weeks of 20hr days. There were only a few rust spots to fix, so now hopefully it'l last another 10 years. I still need to get the rest of the TSi ground effects anda few odds and ends, but overall I'm happy. It was the ugly silver color, no it is Marine Blue Metallic. Now if I could only make it go fast.

the camera dosn't do it justice. I'm sure there are other color that would have looked better, but i liked that one. I didnt want to make it too flashy either. Everyones entitled to thier own opinion though. thanks for the compliments. next up is a rwd conversion hehe. I allready have a crossmember started, i just need to find a suitable tranny...

I think i had about $700 in materials, but if you car is in good shape it will be significantly less. i had lots of money in sandpaper bondo epoxy primer and primer surfacer. this was all done with PPG's shopline series of paint. and it was also a color change which took lots of material as well.

those are 225/60/16 in the rear and 225/55/16 in the front. I think the fat tires on back are the main reason i wanna RWD it

I pull a motorcycle trailer with it frequntly. I also have a mobile motorcyle chassis dyno i built that i pull with it too.

heres a picture of when I started last summer, then in my gallery there is a pic from after fixing the crash
