Well i just picked up another eclipse LOL this one is a 97 gst 106,xxx on the chassis. They said the motor dropped a valve and smashed the piston so i picked it up for only 1k. The car is super clean and almost smells new on the inside LOL. When i got the engine into my garage and seperated the head i didnt see any marks on the pistons but it kinda, looks like 2 valves are bent. All in all i think i got a steal LOL ill post pics in a lil bit

these are the pics of the bodyand interior

more pics...of the engine

the head seems fine after i got time to sit down and look at it no bent valves. when i was turning the motor by hand the #1 cylinder didnt seem to sit as high as the #4 at TDC. Also when i was rotating the engine by hand it sounded as if i could hear a slight tick like one of the rod bearings or something is bad

LOL thats exactly what i was thinking......REBUILD!!!!!!!:hellyeah:

im thinking about doing a 400whp build.

hear is a quick list of things im thinking about buying:hmm:

20g and manifold
750cc injectors
aem rail and regulator
FMIC and all IC piping
bov,Wg,cai
1g tb and intake manifold
9.0:1\9.5:1 forged internal package
and of course dsm link or equivelant

If you guys have any input please feel free for this is my first turbo car so im no expert:confused: but i have done plenty of research for i got bit hard by the dsm bug :thumb:

For a 20g, you may want to go with larger injectors than 750cc.

For your goals, the stock fuel rail will be more than enough. Save the money!

To use a 6 bolt intake manifold, you will have to either have to go with a 6 bolt head, or some serious porting. For your goals, the 7 bolt intake manifold would be fine. If you are set on a larger throttle body, you can match the 7 bolt intake manifold to that.

A larger fuel pump will be in order such as the tried and true Walbro 255LPH in tank pump (with a rewire).

ok so i worked out my plan a little bit. i talked to a guy about a getting a 4g64 out of a 98 spyder so i should be geeting that soon. i also got a 16g turbo and a 14b that was rebuilt with performance thrust and an evo hot side and has been ported. got them both from a dsm buddy who sold them to me for 300 the 16g needs to be rebuilt it has some side to side shaft play. I have a wally 255 that will be going in it.O ya i also got some crower 264's comin in the mail.

so what size injects should i run for 400hp??1000cc??

actually a better question would be what can i expect out of the current setup i have listed

stock 4g64 block/7 bolt head
14b turbo
would the factory injectors be enough for this??

i dont know if im going to put the cams in right away. but since its apart i might as well LOL
