OK, I want a set because my IDCs are at 80% on my FIC 2150s.

Ok, they are $1,440, bout what I figured they would cost.

Next, problem, ECM link can only handle 2500CCs global adjustment, uhhhh Tom/Dave, HELP. I have emailed Thomas for more info.

I think these are also low impedance from what i have seen. Either way not sure they will work well with ecm link. I have seen some haltech cars testing them with good results. We are also interested in them as we have a car to at over 80% on 2150cc's.

These need a peak and hold driver.
The person i saw testing them with a haltech was very impressed vs 2150cc but yes i think they do. I suppose one could argue if you NEED these injectors you should be on a modern standalone anyway. The stainless internals got our attention and the amount they can flow.

I'm not sure about Haltech but I know even with my Fueltech they'd require an external driver.

I will have to double check then the video i saw. I thought he just swapped the injectors and in haltech changed some settings and set the 2/8 amp and they fired right up. I know he said he had to set the peak and hold amps but used what was provided.

You would use the secondary global under AuxMaps.

Square root of 450 = 21.21
Square root of 3000 = 54.77
21.21 / 54.77 = .3872
(0.3872 - 1.0000) x 100% = -61.3% in both primary and secondary fields.

These are not going to work with a resistor pack (stock ecu/ecmlink) AEM Infinity will probably drive them without a driver. I run Billet Atomizers that need 8/2 as well on an Infinity and they work great - idles nice on E85 with 8500cc injectors. So I'd expect that it would drive these as well.

Geez what turbo are you running to be over 80% on 2150'ccs?

6466. The car has plenty of fuel supply and pressure is logged. The set up does move some good air. We can see over 80lb/min at around 40 psi. 45 psi its mid 80lb/min. We could bump fuel pressure up some if we wanted. I think we have seen 85%, maybe little more. When next upgrade happens more will be needed.

Nice impressive setup!

Visual for anybody wondering.
Here is the chart Vipec was showing back around 2014 for a typical peak and hold event.
The curved shape depicts the rise time, which you would also have with a saturated setup.
You give it a good wallop with a high Peak current to get the injector open fast, then just hold it open with the smaller Hold current for the rest of the On time.
To get 8 amps through it when you only have ~13 volts, it has to have a low impedance. I = V/R
Impedance of 1.5 ohms works out about right. 13/1.5 = 8.66 amps
