I just got a new Faze boost gauge. Figured I'd go ahead and spend the money for a gauge I have seen advertized, but unfortunatly I cant put it in my car until I get it running again. However I dont know anyone who runs Faze gauges so I was wondering how well they work and how nice they look at night. If anyone could give me some input or perhaps a pic..I would be very greatful. Thanks. :dsm: :thumb:

I was in need of a boost gauge quickly and couldnt wait to order one. So i picked up the faze indiglo gauge at autozone. I have had the basic autometer ultralite before and i definately prefer the indiglo style of the faze at night much easier to read. As for gauge performance i am using a 3 bar map sensor to record boost with my datalogger and i get the same reading from the faze boost gauge so i assume its pretty accurate.

Although it is not really popular. the gauge itself doesnt seem cheap at all and i would definately put it on par with the mechanical autometer gauges in terms of performance.

I originally intended to use the gauge temporarilly and then pickup a defi or apexi, but so far i cant complain so i guess its staying in here. I had paid 40 bux but i see them at around 59.99 i would honestly buy faze if i were gonna spend 55 for a basic autometer.

I had one for the longest time and I switched to autometer (black face) because it was too bright for me at night whenever I go for a long drive (i.e. two hours). It's pretty accurate since it read exactly what my new autometer does. I guess it's just preference that I happen to like the stock looking boost gauge. They are pretty though at night. :)

i have a bunch of faze gauges.... a/f, boost and voltmeter... also bought the faze digital morpher thing that allows you to change the colors. I got these because they matched my whitefaced indiglo gauges and i hate the reverse indiglo gauges. It was either autometer lunar series or faze gauges, and faze was a new company and cheaper, so i thought i'd sport 'em out and see how they are.
One thing i do not like about them is that they are too bright for me. i have mine on the dimmest setting and its still a bit too bright. And for the AirFuel gauge, when the blue light comes on its blinds you (when you go WOT or give it a moderate amount of gas). Anyone with a faze a/f knows what im talking about.

Yeah I have the boost and Air-fuel. I unhooked the airfuel gauge because it pissed me off one time to many. There not that bright, well at least I dont think so. Cant beat them for the price.

I have an A/F gauge but its from Sunpro. The only problem is I took it from a jerk who screwed me over...he left his car here so I sold it and snatched the gauges out. (it was a POS 89 Honda Acord) but I dont know how to hook it up... So its sitting in my pillar in the garage... Can you guys gimme a hint on what wire goes where??

Wish I could tell you RIGHT NOW. But I'm in class. When I get home tonight I'll look and post the color scheme. So keep your eyes peeled up here and I'll get back to you on that.

I love my Faze gauges! :D

the air fuel is ridiculous when it goes into rich mode, like during shifts, it looks kinda cool though when you shift and you get this wacky blue flash!!

hehehehe
