Ok where to start.

basically i had to start again. So i started by cleaning the car. Then got my self to finish my break line reroute that i never got around to doing. Went to the parts store and picked up some hardline and i let the fun begin by fun i mean mistakes over bending, eye mocking and stuff but it came out good i guess.

the non abs prop valve is located behind the dash. Hidden, and easy access just in case i need to replace it or what not. Came out a bit rough due to me not having a line bender.

and well i got my hands on some sweet evo wheels from a buddy of mine since i sold my old ones.

super cheap by the way.
Also purchased a running 6 bolt from him. With some 264/264 cams don’t know the brand though. And began to clean it up while its out.

Went to the autoparts store and purchased a 6 bolt oil pan gasket since it had no gasket only silicone. Didn’t take a picture of the custom 2g bracket i had to fab up for the engine mount so it would work on a 2g just followed the instructions on youtube from jafro but i cut the cover wrong. I will have to replace it now. But that can be done later. And a really need a oil cooler.

Ok got around on purchasing another fuel pump hanger since i sold the old one. I bought it with a 255 wally pump, an old sx fpr and some lines.
Also a vince fab spacer for the water pump pulley for when i delete the steering pulley.

And i began on the fuel pluming.

062D4065-825C-40B3-9731-A3ACB9E553DC.jpeg

i bought one of these little an adapters so i can be able to add a 1/8 npt fuel pressure gauge to the line since the fpr does not come with a port for it.

I was talking to a friend of mine from cali about how i wanted to purchase a 2gb talon bumper again and he had one but did not want to let go.

But.... with some smooth talk LOL i got him to sell me his 2gb talon rear and front bumpers. Sneak peek.

And since I purchased some used 2g awd calipers and they came in the mail all seized up and rusted. After the whole refund talk i got my money back and just ordered some new ones at the autoparts store for 70 bucks. And rattle can them a bit LOL

Something that i kept leaving till the end because i knew how hard and time consuming it was going to be. Ugh finally got around to do it. Make a hole on the firewall behind the engine so i can pass the wires for the wire tuck and measure everything before i start to finalize the length and start taping. This is some pics of how it went i forgot to take a pic of the hole but i will later and post it.
First drivers side fender. Alternator wires dummy light, oil pressure wires and the headlight wires.
252E9354-D316-458B-8C35-31869100EF04.jpeg

Second passenger side wiring just the headlight wires

Then after the measurement of all the sensors are done. I started to cut and solder the wires.

Got a 1g oil cooler from a buddy of mine and went into
ebay to purchase some fittings that fit the oil cooler and the ofh. And placed it where i felt comfortable with its location. Just added a temporary bracket. I will make a more solid one later.

Just need the innercooler pipes and thats it. A little sneak peek at the hood and bumper in the car just to see how it would look just a mock up.

It starts!!!! For some reason I can’t upload a video of the first startup. But im so excited it starts!!!

ok well now that the car starts and everything. I went looking for metal so i can block off the sunroof. I went from home depot to lowes and some other places then i went to a shipper/warehouse were they cut metal and sell them to companys. Well i went there and talked to a guy there and ended up getting 5 large 4x3 plates of stainless steel metal. For $40 bucks LOL i was going to get sheetmetal for twice as much and the quality was hideous. So good thing i waited and kept looking.

After some measurements and more measurements i finally cut the piece for the sunroof and a piece for the spare tire block off. Here are some pictures they are a bit rough i still need to clean them a bit from the edges.

Then the moment of truth drilling holes. I started by just using some regular sheetmetal screws just to hold it in place and so it can make the holes i want. Im thinking of buying some bolts and screws and tighten them really good. Right now it sits really flush i washed the car and no water went in at all. Im still going to be adding some type of sealant.

Them i gave it a good wash so all the dirt can come off and to see if it leaked. It did not leak but i will still be adding some type of sealant and other bolts some bolts that seat a bit more flush.

Really liked how the sunroof turned out. The spare tire block off came out a bit rough but for being my first time and not having the right tools i say it came out acceptable i can just add some weather strip on the bottom of it and call it a day its not visible anyways as long as it dosent leak im good.

My end goal sits the same just want atleast 400hp from the car. With an hx35 but for now i just want to take it slow and take no shortcuts so it can be running strong then when im satisfied with the car by looks and how it drives ill start to built it a bit further. The way i had my old gsx just so i can be able to cruise on a mild built dsm i miss those days thats my main reason for this.
