I am now very interested in the BR500 turbo. I am interested in making anywhere from 400-500whp, I would like to know if anyone has experience with it, and if so, If its a true bolt on, and what supporting mods I need for it. Thanks

Alll i know its that its a big turbo! Its basicly the same as the br580 (which iv seen in person) The guy that had it put it in his galant and he said he had to get a different oil feed line, mod the oil return line and he had to cut some of the motor mount so that the oil return line would fit. He is running the turbo and a pretty much stock engine. i dont know what he has for fuel wise but the engine itself is stock. he will probably build the engine after he makes a few passes beacuse he is just weird like that. Here is a picture of the turbo vs 20g vs 16g and then a picture of it in the car.

5 grand in fuel mods? how come? I was thinking 350 for extreme psi ball style injectors, 95 for walbro 255 liter high pressure fuel pump, a fuel pressure regulator for about 150, and either a safc for 300, or dsmlink for 500 (already gt a laptop) Which comes out to either 745, or 895. The way I see it, unless Im missing something, is that either way, it won't ake it to a grand, maybe about 1 grand with shipping, but Ill do all the labor myself.

yeah, that too, I was referring to fuel mods though, I think that should be enough. As for FMIC, I was thinking of going cheap, maybe the ahp kit, or the apex. ahp is 750, apex is 1050. I dunno

DSM link, injectors, pump, and regulator is plenty. Thats really all there is to the fuel side of things besides a fuel rail.
