ok i have a 95 talon tsi with the stock piping. I am running an HKS muffler. I want to give it better sound, a little more HP and shave good torque still. I am thinking i will eliminate the resonator in the stock piping and get rid of the cat. Would it be better to do just the cat and keep the resonator to eliminate some of the loud ass sound or go ahead and do away with both?
later i plan on upgrading to a 16g turbo so if this should be facoted in then go right ahead. thanks

well,i think this should be in the "general/newbie" section. secondly,it depends on you,we can't decide how loud you want your car. if you want the most performance,then yes,eliminating the cat and resonator(pre-silencer) would be most beneficial. your exhaust dose'nt really control your torque curve, remember,this is a turbo motor.
