ECMlink Evo 2 Ecu into 1g DSM

Hi guys, i have an offer for a ECU with the ecmlink for a evo 1-3 in it.

my question is, can i put a 1g dsm ecmlink in it and install it plug and play?

The answer for your question is, Yes you "can" put it on a 1g. And No, it's not PnP. It will require a lot of work. I don't think it's worth to do. I recommend to buy the correct one for your 1G. It would save a lot of your time for sure.

Hard work is what makes it fun. Alternatively, If you want link, you could also find a 2g ecu and build an adapter harness. Plenty of docs for that on this site.
Extra input and I wouldnt be surprised if it logged quicker too based on cpu speed. Plus its newer components with more life left in them.. so thats always a bonus. Check the classifieds.

i'd like to buy the 1g kit, but i dont have the eprom ecu.

do they have a complete kit?
i didn't saw something like that

I'd honestly just keep your eyes peeled for a 1G Link setup on the classifieds here or on the millions of FB DSM Buy/Sell groups. Or just buy the 1G Link kit from ECMtuning. They aren't doing the 2G Kits anymore so I'd buy the 1G while you still can.
