Ok i rolled over a dip in the road by my house doing 2 mph and i heard something pop, so i figured it was time to change the balljoints, well it turns out the bottom control arms were both bad..the ball joints i mean, so i replaced the lateral and the curved arm, then the tie rods were shot inner and outer, so i replaced those on both sides, only to find that I had a slow leak in the rack and pinion so i got a rebuilt one, but for some strange reason i still have this wheel hop/ steering jumping on the driver side, so i got under the car put it on jackstands and put it into gear when i got under the car to watch what was goin on i saw that on my driver side the halfshaft/axle was bent so i got a brand new one, so almost everything is new on the driver side except for the upper control arm ball joint and the wheel hub bearing, oo, by the way i checked the suspension, both shocks are fine. I pulled the springs off and both KYB GR2 shocks are still good, but im totally stumped on what the hell is going on.

sounds like low headlight fluid

if not that then have you tried tire bal. or an alignment yet?

kind of scares me that you determine ball joint replacement by a "pop" when you are driving. Good thing you were doing 2 and not 102, that "pop" could have been a "pop, bam, scratch, scrape, pow, boom, ahhhhhhhhh" you got the point.

with the car jacked up, try to wiggle the tire front to back/side to side/ top to bottom and let us know what you find.

well if i wanted an opinion by a total dousche bag i would hav just PMed u, queer, ne way Yes so i replaced both lower control arms on the driver side, and the inner and outer tie rods on both sides and a new halfshaft/axle on the driver side and the problem is still there im starting to think its either the differential or the transmission all together.

have you tried checking the cv axles for extensive side to side play?If they do have alot of play then, they'll make a pop at random.Since you changed the shaft it could be your differential going.Another possibility could be your sway bar links. They make a poping sound like a ball joint as well.just a few things you could check.let us know how it goes.

In your first post and not a sign of it here. I know that there was a little sarcasm in his reply but no need to say any of that shit from you.
