Ok my friend has a 95 talon ESI auto 2.0 N/T he is gonna sell it doesnt run due to bent valves and i have a 90 Eclipse GST Manual I was wondering how hard if impossible it would to put my gst motor and manual trany into the esi which is an automatic 2.0. What things would i need to buy and would it even be worth my time? And how does all the wiring and pedals hook up?
Any help is appreciated
Thanks

Great Huskie is right. Just pretend that the 420A in your friends Eclipse is actually a Cummins Diesel in a Dodge Ram 3500. They are that different from your 4g63t ride.

It would be pretty hard, you would need to completely part out the first gen, not just engine and tranny, everything, wires and all cause it takes everything to make the swap work. Only thing you wouldnt need out of the first gen is the shell pretty much :p . And then you still gotta make stuff like custom mounts for the 2gen. So unless your a super good mechanic and already have one or two parts cars its prolly not a good idea, only reason i can see to do this swap is for your own amusement, shits and giggles, that sorta thing.
