quick description.

as i am in 1st gear starting to move the car by disengaging the clutch the engine seems to shutter rally badly.

Now if i do this quickly, ie let off the clutch pedal quickly there is no shutter, if i do it slow or bog the engine a bit while doing it the front end of the car shutters like its bogging badly.

I think its a warped fly wheel or maybe bad motor mounts. any suggestions. I plan to replace both this spring.

i dont daily drive the car, so it sat for about a month after a summer of hard driving. Then i had some shortened revalved konis with groundcontrols thrown on it. the car was lowered 2inches in the rear and about3 in the front(i know i am raising it in the front ) BUt i really noticed after i put on the suspension and bogged it. I dont usually bog the car but i did one day and i noticed it shuttering. I also had a slipping clutch after a night of 1/4 mile runs at the track. the clutch would slip in higher gears at freeway speeds when i got onto it(3-5thgear). then recently it stopped slipping after not driving it for a while, thats also about the time i noticed this shutter problem. I think the clutch is on its last leg and that i warped the flywheel at the track, it doesnt help that this car has 120K, on original flywheel and has seen no mods until recently when i upped the boost to 15psi with a few accompanying mods.

I just dont know if me having the car lowered so much has any effect. I had the struts shortened and they hacked them too much, i am having it fixed soon, but i havethis fear that the CV/halfshafts upfront might really be strained due to the extremely low ride hieght and binding. but that could just be me worrying too much. I think ill be getting a parts car soon and tearing into both cars soon so i guess i will see. any more advice, experiences, info is still welcome.
