EGT temp?

My egt reading is always around 800c when i'm driving on the highway. Is this normal or is there something wrong with my egt probe. My brother's car is only at or below 700c at the same speed. Also, my egt reading jumps kind of fast when i accelerate on the highway too. Before i know it, i'll be at 900c already, which is pretty high. Any comments?

Thats a little bit high for highways...I only go that high, when I'm at WOT going 130+mph....You shouldn't go over 800 for long periods of time...Try using your bro's probe to see if you have a broken temp. probe...if your probes not broken, i suggest adding more fuel...
