ecuflash not working!!!!!

please sombody help me!!! i bought it brand new from tactrix with mitsubishi adapter and plugged it in and nothing! keeps giving me errors and to check my log. i cant find out if i need to do something with pin 79 or not. some people tell me to some dont and getting ahold of the company is a joke. i have a 2.5 jack plug with a weird pin adpter on the other side and it doesnt look like it goes anywhere.

Looks like you have a 97 according to your info. You will need to wire a pin into the ECU in order to flash along with needing the black-cased ECU.

Why isn't this posted in the EvoScan/ECUFlash subforum?

i do have a 98 gst flashable ecu

i cant find actual pictures of the process.

so what do i do with the harness with a 2.5 jack and weird mutli pin connector? and does anyone know where there is pics to do this?

your overthinking it. add a wire to pin 79 of the ecu and put the jack on that wire, plug the jumper from the jack to the tactrix and plug the tactrix into your obd2 port. plug usb cable into tactrix and into your computer.

I mainly read forums and guides about flashing EVO's. Pretty much taught me everything I needed to know about flashing my GSX. Just a thought.:rocks:

thanks bro im trying to dial in rc 750s and its in volts and i cant find the right info? now car idles rich and runs lean when you get on it.
