ok i want to buy coilovers struts and upper strut bars but im on a tight budget so i was thinking ebay and i was wondering, is there anything i should know about them before i buy them ive heard the strut bars are the same as the expensive ones but i dont know about the rest.

Stick with name brand coilovers..... Cheap ebay coilovers have been known to break, and on such an integral part of your suspension, you don't want to skimp here.

Stick with name brand shocks..... Same as above.

But get the ebay strut bar...... Its just a bar.

If you can find name brands on ebay for cheaper, I say go for it uding your best judgement. However, don't get the offbrand struts or coilovers.

EDIT: I once heard a great quote and I feel that it applies here: "Do it right. Do it once."

Yea, you don't want to skimp on big time parts liek this, when it breaks, it wil cost more to fix than doing it right the first time...

If you are going to start upgrading your suspension you need to start with routine matenance parts first (ball joints, and tie rods), then get a set of sticky tires (Toyos or Kuhmos are good and reasonably priced). Change your anti roll bars (Suspension Technique) and add the strut tower bar. Get an alignment and then start deciding which strut-spring combo (KYB AGX's with Eibach Proline) you want to go with, or if you have deep enough pockets full race coilovers (ex. JIC from RRE). And for us AWD Guys, I think Diamond Star Specialties still sells a rear toe eliminator kit.
