What is an Eagle Talon DL?

I have heard of ESI and TSI but what is DL

is it turbo?
can someone PLEASE explain?

I think thats for 2Gs. We had a 1g talon DL at the dealer I work at it was bare bones as far as options.

yea, not many people know of talon DL's....its a 1G 1.8L engine car....TSi stands for (i think) Turbo Sequential Injection....so ESi is likely similar.

Yeah the 1.8L is the ultimate in performance! I think it has like 80hp.

Yeah its the 1.8L, great on gas and the most reliable dsm.

if you do a search and wade through the unrelated threads, i think it was decided that tsi originally meant Turbo Sport Intercooled, i think it was first implemented on the starion... since then the "i" is just used to signify upper models (ie LXi, Si, LSi, JXi, etc). as far as esi... Electronic Sport Injection sounds like it makes sense

yup, I miss my old 1.8 every time something goes wrong with the GS-T (not that a whole lot's gone wrong, but you get the point )
