Boo guys I just sold my car :notgood: . It was giving me too many headaches. So I am looking into getting another one in the next month or so, so maybe I could still make it. But maybe now I will get an awd instead of a fwd. Any news on the date yet?

BiGGinZ

Sorry about lagging to respond on a date but, it will be either monday or tuesday of next week until i find out an exact date on when it will all be done, so please hold on guys, ill keep you all informed on when it will be.

i am in for 3 pulls, wanna see what my car does now.and how much when i call it a rap for the engine in Oct. :thumb:

well guys i got my call tuesday morning and i am getting the dyno, the first week in August, so, i propose a date like AUGUST 13th its a saturday, the 2nd one in AUGUST, EVERYONE SPEAK UP NOW BECAUSE IF THAT SOUNDS FINE THEN ILL CREATE A NEW POST WITH DIRECTIONS AND A MAP. IS IT ENOUGH TIME AWAY,DO YOU GUYS WANT IT A BIT LATER IN THE MONTH? SPEAK UP OR YOUR VOICE WILL NOT BE HEARD

august 13 sound good for me. cant do it any later then that since i'll be busy when school start. how far is littlerock from long beach anyways? not good with direction LOL!

That sounds good, I should have my new dsm by then. It would be good to get a baseline number.

That would be my guess on what he means.

you can count ont he green machine to make an appearence and some members of tri star just need directions :thumb: :dsm:

What im asking is this : How do you operate your car to do a dyno run? To make it even more clear let me put it this way. When your car is strapped in and all ready to go for a dyno run, do you go in and run it through all the gears till redline or what?

If thats not clear enough then i am at a loss on how to describe the basic question " How do you do dyno runs?"

I have never had a car dynoed but this is how it works. They take your car into the proper gear (different on different cars) whichever one is the closest to 1:1 ratio. I think on a dsm it is 4th because 3rd is a little higher the 1:1. They just go throught the gears easy then go to redline in the gear they dyno in. Does that answer your question?

Thannx guys, i was waiting for him to post what he meant, but anyways, got some bad news, the contractor i hired to install my dyno, had to handle some other business and he said for me to expect a maximum of 2 weeks delay, so now we are at the end of August
for the meet does that still sound fine.,

alright that is what i needed. Thanks for the answer.

No problem :thumb: . About the time period. Anytime is ok. I am going to be getting a new dsm hopefully in the next 2 weeks, so anytime after that is ok with me. I don't have school or anything I just work so it doesnt matter as long as I have enough time to get the day off.

Whats up Turbo :D

You know I am in, I have just been waiting for that excuse to come up to palmdale and terrorize the town.

BTW: if you need any help let me know I will be more than willing to give you a hand during your dyno day. After all I owe you after the seatbelt incident :shhh:
