dual exhaust tip picture

hey guys i have a strange request... can anyone post or send me pics of a blakc 2g with a dual tip exhaust that looks stock or is stock...

reason for this is im fighting a ticket and going to try use this as evidence and just say my tip is chrome maybe thats why the officer thought it was after market. the officer doesnt show up and the clerk magistrate doesnt know what my exhaust looks like and maybe he will buy this... also im going to make a point how i was pulled over a week before that and i did not get a ticket for my exhaust

unless anyone else has any better ideas for fighting this ticket ill take any suggestions i can get. a 6 year surcharge is not fair for such a stupid ticket.

in massachusetts ALL altered exhaust are illegal... its bullshit no matter if its 2 Db or 100 db its illegal... i was around 2 rpm i have a tsudo with no silencer it was not loud at all. it was a state cop he had nothing better to do then pull someone over for a stupid exhaust. he could at least gave me a warning or fix it ticket but no he had give me a 100 ticket that comes with a 6 YEAR surcharge

whats funny about when he pulled me over is he walked around my car first, then looked at everything and then he come to my window. i thought they were suppose to tell you why they pulled you over right away and not buy time by talking around. my car kinda sticks out carbon hood evo body kit with blitz side and rears atzella tail lights to match painted center piece to match car tinted windows. windows are like 40% wanted 35 but oh well

this is ridicuilous one of many reasons i hate cops... but not to change the subject. ya dsmmyth that picture could work do you have any more like that, maybe one that only shows the exhaust area because your license plate is different and they might question it.

i dont know if this is really a great idea but i am stumped on what else i should do. anyone have any other better suggestions?

do you guys think i would be better just getting something in wiritng from my exhaust shop? my exhaust shop is changing my muffler to a magnaflow with dual tips that look more stockish and he said he could write me out something. i really should get something almost perfect to stock because i def dont want to be dealing with this again

qtracerboy00... i was pulled over the week before that for my license plate (it wasnt mounted to the front bumper)... the cop did not say anything about my exahust and he was also a state cop (they usually more strict than regular cops least around here).

thats why i said maybe i should mention this, how i got pulled over a week before on a highway and if i had an altered exhaust it would be louder than city driving because of higher speeds/rpms.

just wanted to mention one more thing while im still spewing over this grr it gets me so mad this whole situation... while he had me pulled over guess what drive by with a 100db exhaust ... a riced out honda bumping his system. his exhaust was so loud he was going like 20-30 mph.. sounded like it was in like 1st gear for the noise he had coming out of it.

do you think the cop pulled him over? nope. you can not go down one street in MA without looking or hearing a car with aftermarket exhhaust i have tried its just not possible.

if anyone has some suggestions i would appreacite if very much.. i sent the appeal in like 2 days ago so just waiting for my court date

What does the exhuast you have on now look like? If its a large single pipe and you show up with a picture of a dual... probably going to get screwed.... However, if you can put the stock one on, take pictures, and bring those to court, you may be able to get out of it... Whatever you do, MAKE SURE that you change the court date at least once. yes its more paperwork, but it increases the chances that the police officer won't show up by at least 50%

Ok wow, I've never heard so much bs in my life. First of all, the cop will always show up, and if he doesn't, the court will be rescheduled for a date that the cop can show up. Don't make yourself look like an idiot by thinking the cop won't be there.

Next thing, just take a pic of your exhaust and take it to court. If they find out you have a pic of someone else's exhaust and you are passing it as your own, thats contempt of court, and lieing under oath. You would have a lot more problems than a ticket.

Where is it stuck in your head that you get a 6 year surcharge? What was the name of the violation? He can't give you a moving violation if something on your car is broken ( or altered in an illegal form, like no exhaust in your matter). The ticket you have might be a sound disturbance ticket, which in NJ has an optional fine of 30 hours community service and about 250$.

Just wear a suit and go there and act professional. Talk to the prosecutor before court and try to arrange something. Be like my friend had a ticket like this before and he didn't get any points if you got a moving violation. Don't demand, ask. Remember the prosecutor tells everything you tell him or her to the judge and the judge penalizes you.

P.S. Don't hate cops because when you are 70 and want to drive 25 in a 30, the cops will be there to protect you from the 19 year old going on the left side of the road to pass, and from the sub bumpin' cars.

And if you want stock, just take the stock muffler, cut off the tips and weld in bigger exhaust piping onto them, would look and sound nearly the same. Just a thought.

i think you miss understood me which is probaly my fault for not explaning... i am appealing it, in MA it goes to a clerk magistrator first. the clerk is locatd in the court house department, you go to a small room with him and a officer that reads off the case. the actual cop that gave the ticket does not come unless you appeal the decesion that the clerk gives you. if you appeal this decesion you then go to a real court in front of a judge and then the cop is suppose to show up.

about the 6 year surchare i called both the registry and my insurance company both of them said it is a moving violation and all moving violations = 6 year surcharge.

the actutal ticket was labeled "Altered Exhaust" which means your exhaust has been altered it doesnt mean that it is loud or noisy or anything...
