I'll try and summarize this as quickly as possible. Originally I was planning on getting the 3" DSS Aluminum driveshaft rated for 650HP. Then for years it was not available so I thought it was discontinued and would have to go with the 3.5" rated to 950HP. Now that I'm getting serious about buying it I see that I can get the 3" again.

So I have two questions. Giving the parts I'm targeting for the build and depending on the tuning and setup I could exceed the 650 threshold giving others results with their builds and would rather not build my foundation barely supporting the structure above so that leads me to wanting to go with the 3.5" regardless.

My second question/concern, which will most likely be the deciding factor is clearance issues. Can I easily fit the 3.5" and a full 3" exhaust? I'm sure others must have built with this same setup. Any info on this topic would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Just snapped these for some reference. This is the 3” DSS and a 3.5” exhaust.
