I am stationed over in Germany and getting to the track is troublesome since they are only open 4 times a year near me. Oh and its on a flight line that isn't prepped. But anyways, I took the car out this weekend and ran a personal best of 10.149 @ 140. My launch was not so good with only a 1.6 60ft. I don't get much seat time being over here so it sucks. Below is the time slips from the 10.1 and a 10.2. This was a mild tune, 37-38psi, 12 degrees of timing up top, e85 no knock. Stock drive train.
I blew my head gasket Friday while doing some final tuning and was too arrogant to realize the HG was blown. I just thought my overflow tank was leaking and causing the car to overheat. So the HG was blown the whole time at the track. Times were 10.2, 10.2, 10.2, and the final 10.1. Fuel got between head and block where the HG was blown and detonated which blew out a water jacket. Lesson learned.
