dragging noise?

hey everybody, i have a 91 fwd talon tsi. last night when i was driving home i noticed what seemed to be a dragging sound. i thought it was that foot long of flex exhaust pipe we all have because i know it is loose from the pipe and i know i have to fix that. so when i got home i had my room mate drive it so i could see if anything was dragging...nothing was. he said it was probably my cv axles finally going all the way out becaue i had been putting off changing them for a while. well i changed the axles this morning, and one came right apart. so i thought that was my problem, the bearing just were shot. so hoping that i fixed the dragging noise and the clicking i took it for a test drive. to my suprise the clicking was gone, but the dragging was still there. i know my front engine mount is broke so i am wondering if that could have anything to do with it? could it be my tranny going? it only makes the dragging sound when i am in gear and it does not seem to do it all the time, it is really loud when i am going really slow. i would think if it was my tranny making such an awful noise, i would not be able to put it in gear, and that i would hear it even in neutral. someone please help.

my girlfriends car made a dragging noise and it was the brake rotors. Maybe that is the problem.

Sounds like a bearing is out, if has sorta a howling noise to it. Then thats it. Check the your accessories.
