So I just replaced my passenger side door, the lock worked fine before hand and when I went to try and go unlock it, it didn’t want to from the inside, tried u locking it from the outside but keeps feeling like it’s binding up.

Anybody got an idea on what it could be?

Update: so I figured out what it was. It turns out that the rod that’s hooked to the door handle sat too high when it was unhooked. Thus, it made the door handle partially engaged if that makes sense. And why the lock wouldn’t activate

In the first image here, the rod sat higher because I initially had a bolt and nut that was inside the slide in image 2

The door handle that was on before had the rod connector sitting higher (image 1), which initially prompted me to add the bolt and nut. But now since the rod connector on the new handle was lower, there’s no need for them. Problem solved!
