ive been having to tune my car with just accepting the fact that i only get around .73 to .75 o2 reading during my pulls. ive tryed everything along with new o2s sensors and have gave up on fixing that problem, but mainly i wanted to know does the ecu use the feedback from the o2s a whole lot in determining how much duty cycle or pulse width my injectors get????

i was maxing out 660s with increased fp and uped to 720 and now im able to keep the duty cycle down around 90 or less, overall the car pulls pretty good and just last week i managed a 12.6 at 112.7 my first run, so the car isnt tuned to bad, little to no knock with timing increasing nicely. but i just wish i didnt have this low o2 problem and im thinking it sure isnt helping my tuning abilitys any at all.

If you're maxxing out your injectors, then your o2s are going to drop. I doubt you would max out your 720s with your 16g, however.

Are you pulling any knock?

thaks for the reply but it wasnt much help causs im running a mutt level 1, i maxed out 660s and my 720s are at 90 percent at most. like i said before little to no knock, o2s run at a constant .73 to 75 through the whole pull, sorry but it didnt seem like u read my post or sig before replying.

im looking for a very techinal answer from anyone that knows exactly how much the ecu using the o2 voltage in coming up with how much duty cycle to run? and how much this low o2 problem is hurting me or slwing me down?

When the car is in open loop, the O2 sensor's input signal is ignored due to lack of resolution.

At full throttle, you are in open loop for sure. Therefore, the O2 sensor's signal is 100% ignored.

ok thanks that makes sense and you sound pretty confident that you know what your talking about, thanks

My mistake, your profile said big 16g. Sorry.
