Do Spoilers do anything?

Obviously wings/spoilers do some good, or else racing vehicles of all types would not have them.

HOWEVER, I am 98% sure that the type of wings/spoilers that would do any good on a car are NOT available in the ads on the pages of SS, SCC, Turbo, etc. The companies that sell the real deal in this market are the ones that have the research to back them up. Like Mugen. That's also why Mugen costs 2X+ that of any other maker.

Stock and/or no wing is the best wing.

almost all stock spoilers are meant to produce very little downforce and are created more as stability spoilers then anything else.

unless you are into actuall racing you don;t need a front or rear spoiler. if you are into racing then its a very smart idea to have a front and rear spoiler for any AWD>RWD>FWD car since they will all benefit from downforce and higher speed stability.
