How To Make a Merge Pipe.

So started this and got most of the way done and my computer froze so I have to start over. So sorry if this is brief.

This is the start of my manifold for my 420a.

I got all of my steel from Ace Stainless... 2 feet of 1.5 inch Stainless Steel Pipe.
The flange was purchased through FastWayRacer.com

First thing first. Your going to want to estimate the size of the Merge Collector. I cut my pipe to 5 inches.
It was a bit long but its easier to cut steel than make it longer.

My cuts were cut at a 60 degree angle. I would suggest more but my bandsaw only cuts up to 60 degrees.
After your first cuts you will turn the pipe 90 degrees and perform another cut. Its very simple once you get everything lined up.
Here is what you should end up with after you do your cuts.

Now you are going to want to tack 2 pieces together. Do this for both sides. Should look like this....

Next your going to have to do some fitment. The cuts that connect the 2 side pieces together to
make 1 big piece, dont line up perfectly. I pulled out the grinder, and grinded them down until the
gap was small. The smaller the gap the better the weld. This is where I suggest cutting the pipe shorter.
It will be much much easier to do the 2 pieces instead of 4.

Now weld them all together. MAKE SURE TO USE A TIG!
You will regret it later if you dont. If you dont have a TIG pay someone to do it!

Now your basically just going to place it on the flange. Keep in mind bolt holes.
Your not going to want to get it all welded together and then realize that you cant drop bolts into it.
