OK, I know this has probably been answered a time or 20, but I have been searching a bit and can't find anything but, "I have 'these' and like them." I am looking into coilovers for my 92 TSi AWD, and I am debating on Ground Control with KYB AGXs or one of the other setups (Tein, D2, Tanabe, ect.) My question is this, what do I get by going to the latter setup for the extra money? I am looking to Have a car that handles like it is on rails, is lower than stock setup (not ground scraping though) and doesn't beat me up to the point that I need a chiropractor. Any imputs would be greatly appreciated.

I thought I'd give you a response since I know how it feels not getting any replies.
I can't say from any first hand experience on my own car, as I'm also shopping for suspension.
You may want to think some more about what's more important. In my mind, ride quality means I can feel the road. If you want a smooth ride, buy a Lincoln. Decide what you want to do. AutoX, drag, track, street?
I'm thinking I'll go with a coilover setup so I can get more adjustability, but that also means my wife probably won't want to ride in my car anymore. Other setups can be more comfortable, but may not give you the performance you want. Cornering on rails will require tires. Don't skimp on tires.
On a side, two of my best friends own WRX's and they both dropped maybe 2 grand in their Tein setups. The cars are unbelievable now. From stock to now they don't even feel like the same car.
Don't know if you read this or not. All I know is this guy is a far better driver than both of us put together ever will be, so it's worth reading agian.

Good luck.

You are right, I should have used a better title, but the thread has been viewed over 60 times, so people are al least opening it. I may have gottem a better response if I hd been more descriptive in the title though.
