Did I ruin the head?

I was at the junkyard trying to pull a 420A head in immaculate condition. Unfortunately I could only get 8 of 10 head bolts undone, the two by cam gears would not budge. During the course of my struggles my ratchet hit the top side of the head and made some nasty gashes in that poor aluminum. I should have taken a pic, it was still within the boundries of VC gasket seating so... question is: Is it still ok or did I screw it I'm thinking of going back in a week with a breaker bar. I forgot it

You should be ok. It might need some gasket sealent there.

Or you can jb weld the gashes and sand it all smooth
