To make it short some really smart person ran the car with almost no oil and when he arrived at my house I turned on the car and reved it and at 3k rpms i heard a lil knock so i immediately shut it off and droped the oil pan, removed rod caps to find this...
as you can see the really worned down one is cylinder 1. Can I just repleace bearings or do I need to get it machined? Thanks.

You'd be better off having it turned .010 under with new correct size bearings either way. It looks like too much scoring. I mean, better safe than sorry.

You could always find a 6 bolt short block and drop it in instead of rebuilding the 7 bolt.

All that bearing surface has gone somewhere. . . Pull her apart and rebuild it right the first time.

BTW, some say turning the crank will compromise it. But so many have gone so far on a turned stroker crank. I havn't heard anything about one failing after turning it. Or better to say, i havn't heard of one failing due to a direct relation to a turned crank journal. But, the Mitsu manual states plainly that the crank is 'not serviceable'. Research and pull your hair out :D .

6-bolt blocks are not unplentiful, so I wouldn't take the time in rebuilding unless you plan on getting forged internals, arp hardware, etc.
