Did an IC flush...

Well, today I decided to flush my SMIC. I followed the instructions on Myzero, and he said that after the first time you flush it it sould come out flat black...mine came out almost clear! The second flush it came out the exact same color as regular gas! I shook it for about a minute each time too. I know that the IC has never been flushed before...so is that saying my car was taken good care of by the previouse owner and that my car is in good condition It has 203000km's on the engine.

Also, I don't know if anyone else has had the same problem, but I had the hardest time trying to get the clamp loose on the UIP, the damn thing couldn't have been positioned worse. I had to take the airbox off to get at it. While I was at it I also removed the lower honeycomb and took off the air horn. Now I just have to chop up my airbox

i cleaned my intercooler the other day too. The nastiest brown sluge came out. Didn't have any problems getting it off though.

I'm curious, just exactly how did you dispose of your gas when you finished cleaning out your IC(assuming you used gas to clean it out)?

There is an(don't know really what to call it) but a waste disposal dump in my area for things like oil, gas, antifreeze, etc(its right in the recycling area fo town). I just poored a small amount of gas in my IC, shook for a while, then dumped it into a 4L(1Gal) icecream pale. After I was done flushing it I brought the pale to the dump site and poored it down the drain.

The neighbors yard man. Just bring to one of the dumpsters over by my house or one of the empty lots.

Well theres no recycling place I know of near me. So i may or may not have went into the woods and dumped it there.

i just dumped it in my front yard, grass is still growing there to.

i dumped it in the alley, and covered it with some sand. the left-over gas i poured into my mom's corolla [it was 87 oct. anyway] i left just before the nieghborhood kids could ask any quetions. " what's tht smell?"
"is that gas?" etc.

I also recently cleaned my intercooler and I only got a very light brown color. My car has over 150,000 miles on it and I doubt previous owners cleaned the IC. I'm not sure what that means except that oil from the turbo is not draining/leaking into the IC, which is good for me.
