Good kill but i wish it was in my car. I recently bought a 94 talon tsi awd turbo. my bro wanted to try her out so i was using his car. its a 95 SHO taurus 24valve DOHC. I was heading home with it and at a stoplight where there is double lanes this punk in a new cougar v6 pulls up next to me. and looks over. revs his engine with the classic big muffler rice burner shit on the back. so not to take any shit i rev the sho and the dual flowmasters belch there classic growl. the light turns green. we both punch it and he gets ahead of me for a sec due to excessive smokey tire burning on my part. once the sho gets traction it revs quickly to the 7200 rpm redline and 125mph completely blowing the doors off this wannabe fast and the furious punk. He must have been pissed getting beat by a ford taurus seeing where he prolly doesnt know what shos are. i know the storys not bout a dsm but i thought it was cool anyway. Damn i wish i was driving my car yesterday i would have really made him cry.

LOL , you know whats funny to me ? everytime im in someone elses car (being passenger or driver) is when I see potential races , when im driving my 91 gst it seems like all the comp disapears or is it devine intervention? anyway at least you had a good car to race with (sho) this car is underestimated by alot of inexperienced wanabe racers. the sho has proven itself to me a few times. tip for someone that lines up w/ one , dont underestimate it.
oh yeah btw for the record dsms are faster than shos :shhh: :thumb:
:dsm:

I understand. Ever notice the Cougar is gaining as much popularity with the Muffler-Tuning crowd as the Cavalier lately?

yeah i know i must have seen at least ten cougars with them in the last week. oh and dont forget they have to have the green or purple underlighting.

same here.....that and most people who streetrce dont mess with DSM's...
i once saw an integra picking on a civic. the TEG (not GSR either) revved ona civic and raced and beat him. i ended up next to the guy at the light somehow (hehe) and he never so much as glanced at me. ah what a good feeling.

LOL, you said it all, especialy that part about they wont even look your way its funny if you try to figure out what theyre thinking(thats aDSM dont look over there), makes me proud to own a DSM:dsm: :talon: :laser:

Maybe they ARE trying to race, we just don't know it.

Every once in a while a car will pull away from a light briskly, I usually keep a few feet ahead of them just in case they stomp on it and try to really race. I usually granny shift at 3,500 rpm. That's all I need to keep ahead. My car sounds so unstressed it almost yawns between shifts. "Bwaah... sigh.. bwaahh..."

all the honda kids are affraid of me. One day when I was completly stock a very modded gsr pulled up so I reved on him he looked over at me like I was crazy...that is until he saw my car. Then he put his blinker on and ran away. When I had my civic I used to race dsms because I had balls(and my civic was pretty quick) kids these days are affraid. So sad
